Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a process and not a one time "magic" cure. It is a process that treats disease through the use of natural, medically active substances in weak doses that can produce symptoms of relief while working with the body.

Homeopathy offers treatment for emotional disorders, injuries, acute and chronic diseases. Homeopathy does not kill germs, but works with the body's own ability to heal. For this reason, no two people with the same disease can be treated the same way.

Each person must be assessed individually to determine all the factors that have influenced and caused the disease. The Homeopathic remedy is tailored to each individual's needs and designed to match each person's symptoms. As a result, homeopathy can be a detailed and complex process, but it can achieve positive results with all types of diseases.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years throughout Chinese history. Chinese medicine sees the working of the body and mind as the result of the interaction of certain vital substances.

The body and mind are nothing but a form of “qi” (pronounced "ch-ee"; could mean vital force or vital essence). The normal physiological functions of the internal organs and the various types of "qi" rely on a complex balance; not only among the internal organs and between yin and yang, but also under direction of movement of "qi". The 12 internal organs of the body all perform specific functions in relation to the different types of "qi". In order to function properly, the different types of "qi" must flow in their appropriate direction.

The purpose of acupuncture is to restore balance, by increasing or decreasing excess or deficiencent energy flow. This is done by inserting needles through the skin with the correct combination of acupuncture points on the body. This therapy has the ability to positively treat various acute and chronic conditions.

The effects of acupuncture are analgesic. This can be achieved by raising the pain threshold, sedation, regulartory; to balance the activity of the sympathetic and parasympathetic divisions of the autonomic nervous system and the endocrine system. Immune enhancing, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic, psychological effects and motor recovery.

Herbology (Botanical Medicine)

The medicinal benefits of herbs have been known for centuries. Many herbs contain powerful ingredients that if used correctly can help heal the body. Herbs have the ability to help your body to maintain and enhance the body's natural immune system to protect you from disease. Herbs are generally beneficial in cleansing and purifying the body. They also have the ability to regulate/tone your body and the glands of your body.

Some herbs are high in nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, which help nourish the body, while others work with your body's energy and its ability to heal itself. Using herbs in their complete form the body’s healing process utilizes a balance of ingredients provided by nature. Herbs can perform many healing functions in the body but they must be used appropriately not indiscriminately.

Herbal remedies are less likely to cause side affects than most conventional medicines but never less herbs can be potent. You have to be cautious, because there are poisonous plants and some of them are deadly; especially if used over a long period of time.

It's important to point out that qualified herbalists use herbs with great care. Since herbs contain active ingredients you should be aware that some of these elements may interact negatively with prescribed medication. Certain herbs should be used only for healing purposes and not for extended periods of time. It is wise to consult a health professional when there is any questions about the safety of herbs.

Iridology

The science of iridology is based on the analysis of the most complicated tissue structure of the whole body; the iris. It is a method were the doctor or health care practitioner, can tell from markings or signs in the iris the reflex condition of various organs and systems of the body.

These markings represent a detailed picture of the integrity of the body, it's constitutional strength, areas of congestions or toxic accumulation and inherent strength and weaknesses. Nature has provided us with an invaluable insight into the vital status of the heath of the body by transmitting this information to the eye.

This is not to say that this should exclude other forms of analysis. On the contrary, this may be employed in conjunction with any other systems of analysis or diagnosis that a practitioner wishes to use.

Bach Flower Remedies

In 1934, Bach explains the way his Flower Remedies work:

The action of these remedies is to raise our vibrations and open up our channels for the reception of the Spiritual Self; to flood our natures with the particular virtue we need, and wash out from us the fault that is cauing the harm. They are able, like beautiful music or any glorious uplifting thing which gives us inspriatiuon, to raise our very natures, and bring us nearer to our souls and by that very act to bring us peace and relieve our sufferings. They cure, not by attacking the disease, but by flooding our bodies with the beautiful vibrations of our Higher Nature, in the presence of which, disease melts away as snow in the sunshine. There is no true healing unless there is a change in outlook, peace of mind, and inner happiness.
